Secret Files & Update/Renovación

Today I update the site with the new Character of the Month for my Literary Corner(In Spanish), this time is Amy Kalov from my Prisma series. So is you understand spanish you can learn more about her. As for books I'm waiting for the arrival of my order of Skin Trade by Laurell K. Hamilton. This one really have me excited I suppose because it have Edward in it and his character always bring great action, although I'm preparing myself mentally to no much Jean Claude except for a few calls I suppose. I'm having Jean Claude withdrawals since he wasn't much in the last two books. 

As for games, I recently finished Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis .  I love Secret Files: Tunguska but have to say that this sequel of the series is just awesome, definitely much better than the first and now one of my favorites adventures of all time. So far the best adventure game in 2009 for me. It hook me since the beginning and never lost interest. Pros: story, graphics(amazing), ambience and lots of great humor. Cons: not much I suppose since I enjoy it so much, probably at some times I find the character's acting a bit too much but nothing that will make it not enjoy the game. A few puzzles that I wouldn't guess in years so I have to get some help. But in total, the game is just awesome. Love specially the interaction between Nina & Max with the breakout, good to see them together again. I don't understand why they always break up the couples in games, like George & Nico in Broken Sword. Other thing I love was the end, very original and fun to watch. So is you want to see it I won't spoil it, you will have to play the game.

As for series, right now I'm enjoying Harper's Island since much of my favorite series are in hiatus. And waiting for True Blood(soon Yippy!), Dr. Who, Torchwood, Big Brother and Robin Hood(not too soon ). When all this begins I definitely will be very entertain. Lol!

Hoy renové mi página con el nuevo personaje del mes en mi Rincón Literario, esta vez es Amy Kalov de mi serie Prisma. Así que chequealo para que conozcas más sobre ella. En cuanto a libros estoy esperando que llegue mi copia de Skin Trade de Laurell K. Hamilton. Este libro me tiene super emocionada supongo porque Edward esta en el mismo y su personaje siempre trae mucha acción, aunque me estoy preparando mentalmente para la ausencia de Jean Claude excepto por algunas llamadas supongo.   Como pueden ver estoy extrañando a Jean Claude pues en los últimos dos libros no ha salido mucho.

En cuanto a juegos, terminé recientemente Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis . Me encantó Secret Files: Tunguska pero tengo que decir que esta sequela de la serie es estúpenda, definitivamente mucho mejor que la primera y ahora uno de mis juegos de aventuras favorito. Hasta ahora el mejor juego de aventuras del 2009. Me entretuvo desde el principio y nunca perdí el interes. Pros: la historia, las gráficas(estúpendas), ambiente y excelente humor. Cons: no mucho supongo ya que lo disfrute muchísimo.Tal vez que algunas veces la reacción de los personajes fue un poco exagerada pero nada que no te permitiera disfrutar del juego. Y algunos puzzles que no hubiera imaginado en años así que tuve que buscar ayuda. En total, el juego fue estúpendo. Especialmente me encantó los intercambios entre Nina y Max lidiando con el rompimiento, que bueno verlos juntos de nuevo. No entiendo porque siempre tienen que romper las relaciones en los juegos, como George & Nico en Broken Sword. Otra cosa que me encantó fue el final, bien original y divertido. Así que si quieres verlo no voy a decirlo vas a tener que jugar el juego para verlo.

En cuanto a series, ahora mismo estoy disfrutando Harper's Island. El resto de mis series favoritas están en receso. Estoy esperando por True Blood(pronto Yippy!), Dr. Who, Torchwood, Big Brother y Robin Hood(no tan pronto ). Cuando todas empiecen definitivamente estaré bien entretenida. Lol!

Dead, Gone & The Puppeteer

I finish reading the book Dead & Gone by Charlaine Harris, and love it. It pick my curiosity from beginning to end and let me wanting more. I specially love to know more about Eric's past, how he become a vampire etc. Since he's my favorite, it was just awesome. Also as I expected the fairies war was interesting and keep me cautivated. The only dissapointment was at the end with Niall, I hope is not a definite conclusion because I totally love Niall's character and what he and the fairies bring to the universe of Sookie. Also enjoy Bill's involvement in all the situations, I really enjoy his character although I prefer  Eric for Sookie. In conclusion, I totally enjoy the book and I'm looking forward to the next one.

As for games, I finished recently Art of Murder: Hunt For The Puppeteer. I really enjoy the game, it was entertaining and the story was cool. The pros: story, characters, graphics, ambience. The cons: Sometimes I feel kind of lost when going from place to place, because when you arrive to the place you get information that it wasn't hinted in the previous location. For example: At the end of one part, she knows she have to go to Cuba but beats me why because there was never an explanation in the previous location of why and what she discovers. In other games I play, you know why the character is going there because the story is unfolding bits by bits location by location. Here was like, Where are we going now? without clue and later in the next location you discover the reason reading the diary. Also, I'm intrigued by the mystery with Nick, Nicole's FBI partner. In both Art of Murder games he's like this big mystery but we never learn nothing about him. No matter this things, the game is entertaining and fun. So looking forward to the next case. 
Terminé de leer Dead & Gone por Charlaine Harris, me encantó. Mantuvo mi interes de principio a fin y me dejó esperando más. Especialmente disfruté saber más del pasado de Eric, como se convirtió en vampiro etc.  Ya que él es my favorito, fue estúpendo. Todo lo relacionado a la guerra de los fairies como esperaba fue interesante y mantuvó mi interes. Lo único que me decepcionó fue al final con Niall, espero que no sea algo definitivo porque me encanta el personaje de Niall y lo que este y los fairies representan en el universo de Sookie. Disfrute también a Bill en las situaciones, me gusta mucho su personaje aunque prefiero a Eric para Sookie. En conclusión disfrute muchísimo el libro y espero ansiosa el próximo.

En cuanto a juegos, recientemente terminé Art of Murder: The Hunt For The Puppeteer. Disfruté de este juego, fue divertido y la historia estuvo nítida. Los pros: la historia, personajes, gráficas y ambiente. Los cons: A veces me sentía algo pérdida cuando cambiaba de sitios. Cuando llegabas a un sitio te enterabas de información que simplemente no sabías como la conseguiste. Por ejemplo: El personaje sabe que tiene que ir a Cuba pero el jugador no tiene ni idea de por qué ya que nada de lo que se discutió en el sitio menciona lo que descubrimos. En la mayoría de los juegos, uno sabe porque va a la próxima localidad ya que la historia se va desarrollando paso a paso, en este es ¿A dónde vamos ahora? sin pistas y luego descubres porque estas allí cuando lo lees en el diario que el personaje lleva. Algo que me tiene intrigada, es el personaje de Nick, el compañero de Nicole en el FBI. En ambos Art of Murder, el personaje esta rodeado por un aura de misterio pero nunca descubrimos nada nuevo de él según los juegos progresan. A pesar de esto el juego es entretenido. Así que estoy lista para el próximo caso.

Update & Other Things/Renovación Y Otras Cosas

Today I add the new character of the month in my Literary Corner(In Spanish). I'm waiting for my copy of Dead & Gone by Charlaine Harris, looking forward to the continuation of the story of Sookie and gang. There are many novels and games coming that I'm really looking forward to get. So hopefully I put here my take on them as soon as I check them out.

Best wishes to all the mothers out there, hope you have a blast with your family this coming Mother's Day.

Hoy añadi el nuevo personaje del mes en mi Rincón Literario, así que denle una chequeadita y si quieren saber más sobre él, lean los cápitulos de Gypsies. Estoy esperando por mi copia de Dead & Gone de Charlaine Harris, esperando continuar con la historia de Sookie y la ganga. Hay varias novelas y juegos en los próximos meses que estoy esperando poder disfrutar. Así que con suerte pondré aquí mi impresión de los mismos tan pronto pueda disfrutar de estos.

Mis mejores deseos para todas las madres, espero que la pasen estupendamente junto a sus familias este próximo Día de las Madres.

Rincón Literario Update/Renovación

Series, etc.

I'm waiting not so patiently to see the new Robin Hood season. It looks just awesome. The trailers I have see are really cool and the clips too. This trailer is one of my favorites although must of the scenes are from early seasons but the intensity is just so cool that makes you want to see the series inmediately.  I'm looking forward to see the confrontation between Robin and Gisbourne. And of course looking forward to the new character of Tuck. Enjoy! It looks I will have to wait a bit more.
Estoy esperando, no tan pacientemente para ver la nueva season de Robin Hood. Lo poco que he podido ver es simplemente estúpendo. Los trailers y los clips que he visto son fabulosos. Este trailer es uno de mis favoritos, aunque las escenas son mayormente de seasons anteriores. Me encanta la intensidad pues te hace querer ver la serie inmediatamente.  Especialmente la confrontación entre Robin y Gisbourne.  Y por supuesto, esperando conocer el nuevo personaje de Tuck. ¡Disfrutenlo! Todo apunta a que tendré que esperar un poco más.
